Get to know me

I’m Virginia, a creative soul originally from a small country called Latvia located next to the Baltic Sea, but I call England my home. Currently residing in London, but dreaming about life at the coast.

Being the only child and growing up in the countryside, I’ve learned to discover places and see things at my own pace and way. I think that’s from where I developed a love for observing other people's stories and telling them through creative avenues such as photography.

When I’m not photographing weddings, I can often be found curled up on the couch reading some great novel or spending an afternoon listening to waves rolling and crashing into the shore.

I’m inspired by raw emotions, natural light, authentic places and moments in between.

Lover of: Spring mornings, g&t, period dramas, quirky villages, the sound of rain, dramatic light, a good glass of red, cabins in the woods, green tea, horses, hugs, barefoot walks through wet grass at twilight.

My style and approach

I’m a firm believer that wedding photography should reflect who you are and what your wedding is all about. I aim to capture the real connection and chemistry between you two, how you and people around you felt that day. I want to create something so timeless and meaningful that you can enjoy time and time again.

My work is driven entirely by passion and I love to work with people who share the same enthusiasm and aesthetics. I see your wedding as a collaboration between us and I truly strive in an environment where people put their trust in me and let me go with my gut to document the story in an authentic, raw and organic way.

My documentary style and unobtrusive personality makes me quiet and “in the distance” observer capturing your day how it naturally unfolds in front of my lens, focusing on candid moments, real emotions and beautiful details that made your wedding so unique.

I don’t want to make you feel that anything is forced or posed. I will help you to direct you on the day for the best angles and beautiful light, but I’d rather want you to be fully present and have a time of your life. Most of the time you won’t even notice me, however you will often find me in the middle of the dance floor having as much fun as you on your wedding day. I prefer to join you as a friend than being just another vendor to cross off your list.

Hi, lovely to see you

Let me share with you a little bit about myself

I was born in Latvia, a rather small yet beautiful place next to the Baltic Sea, but for more than a decade now I've been calling London my home.

As an only child in a family and growing up surrounded by nature, I’ve learned to discover places and see things at my own pace and in my own way. I think that’s from where I developed a love for observing other people's stories and telling them through creative outlets such as photography.

I’m inspired by raw emotions, light, authentic places, sense of community and moments in between.

Lover of: Spring mornings, dancing without caring about a thing in the world, the sound of rain, dramatic light, minimalism, dark atmospheric bars, a good glass of red, RY X, hugs, candlelight, green tea, cabins in the woods, horses, barefoot walks through wet grass after the sunset, period dramas, quirky villages.

When I’m not photographing weddings, I can often be found curled up on the couch reading some great novel or spending an afternoon listening to waves rolling and crashing into the shore.

My style and approach

& what you can expect

As a firm believer that wedding photography should reflect who you are and what your wedding is all about, I aim to capture the real connection between you two, how you and the people around you felt that day.

When you look at your photos, I want them to take you back and make you feel all the little moments and big emotions all over again. Keeping a storytelling approach at the center of attention, I'd like your wedding photos to be a collection of timeless emotive images that one day will become your family heirlooms.

My documentary style and unobtrusive personality makes me quiet and “in the distance” observer capturing your day how it naturally unfolds in front of my lens, focusing on candid moments, real emotions, and beautiful details that made your wedding so unique.

I see your wedding as a collaboration between us and I want to capture you as you are without dictating the flow of your day. I may provide a gentle direction, but I don’t want to make you feel that anything is forced or posed. Most of the time you won’t even notice me, although you will often find me in the middle of the dance floor having as much fun as you on your wedding day.
